About Dr Luc’s Practice in Los Angeles, California

Although Dr Luc is a licensed medical doctor in the state of California, he has chosen to follow a more pure and committed healing path, and his practice is solely based in homeopathy through the treatment of chronic disorders, conditions and imbalances, and not the self-limiting acute conditions of colds, flus, etc. Therefore, Dr Luc does not prescribe diagnostic tests or write prescriptions, as many other MD’s or MD/Homeopaths may do. In Dr Luc’s practice, he will not prescribe medications or write prescriptions for medication refills under any circumstances. However, Dr Luc will work with your primary medical doctor to help you decrease your medication when he feels it is necessary, and if that is your goal. No extensive testing will be prescribed, nor will he consult solely or with other physicians about hospitalizations or surgery. Dr Luc will review all of your pertinent information (the diagnostic tests you have) from other doctors when you bring a copy of them to the office for your homeopathic consultation, to assist him to understand your medical history and case from a western health care perspective.

Most patients with chronic health conditions will have a primary medical doctor (MD). If you have a primary MD or Pediatrician, you should maintain this relationship especially if on medications, as Dr Luc does not alter, refill or prescribe medications, and he is not on call after office hours if an emergency should occur. Most patients will use Dr Luc as their primary homeopathic physician and homeopathic consultant/educator, and not their primary MD if they are in need of western medical interventions.

This combination is not contradictory, and works out well while patients rebuild their health from chronic conditions, and can move to less dependence on western interventions as their health improves.
